James Nereim is the Student Ministry Coordinator for Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. He has been serving in his position since April of 2022. He grew up in Winter Springs, Florida, before moving to Tampa in 2016 to attend the University of South Florida. There he received his bachelor’s degree in psychology. In March of 2022, he married his college sweetheart. He is actively taking classes through an online seminary program where he intends to get his Master’s in Divinity with a focus in biblical counseling. He is passionate about sharing the Gospel, and teaching students about the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. His goal is to help students meet Jesus, grow in their faith, and learn how to love and serve others with the gifts and talents God has given them.
